Chuck Steak
1 1/2 lb. chuck steak
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom (celery, leek, etc.) soup
1 env. (1 1/2 oz.) dehydrated onion soup mix
(Can also use mushrooms fresh)
3 med. carrots, quartered
2 stalks celery, cut into 2" lengths
2-3 med. potatoes, pared and quartered
Green beans
2 tbsp. water
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Lay heavy-duty foil in baking pan.
Place meat in center. Mix mushroom soup and onion soup mix; spread over meat.
Top with vegetables. Sprinkle vegetables with water.
Fold foil over and seal securely to hold in juices.
Bake 1 hour or until meat is tender. Makes 4 servings.
